Professional Filmmaking

Filmmaking is in our blood.

The per stellas team has decades of broadcast experience in the corporate sector and the BBC of researching, writing, producing, scripting, shooting, and editing films.

We can do this anywhere around the world, making films from 30 seconds to an hour long.

It starts with our journalistic instincts and training, and then the contributor's story. We use the latest kit and film-making techniques, constantly pushing ourselves to make distinctive, engaging content, to find and reveal that narrative.

That quality of service is an absolute given - alongside expert lighting and sound, the use of voiceover or reporters and innovative technology including drone and macro lenses.

All to ensure a high-quality HD product rounded off with the best post-production.

Whatever you need, we can film: website shorts, stop motion animation, digital and social media content, interviews, promos, marketing and comms, training videos, event videography or short / long form documentaries.

We love to add our unique paper and digital art into our films so they stand out, and this content can all be re-versioned, alongside other media you've commissioned, for different outlets.

This hybrid model offers value for money by delivering distinctive and reusable media, properly tailored for each platform.

Film projects

I was introduced to Annie Connolly and per stellas by Balliol College at Oxford to produce a film on Balliol and the Transatlantic Slave trade. Which is, in today's historical climate, a difficult subject. My concerns were allayed during the first production meeting when Annie and her team listened intensely and asked probing questions. per stella's focus on quality showcased the experience team as well. The finished product exceeded my expectations. Their creativity in production design, camera work, editing and creatively filming a distinctive approach using paper dioramas to demonstrate the emotional impact of 'the middle passage' and other scenes told through the eyes of the enslaved, filled a void where there is little visual documentation. The film has had a direct impact on the viewing audience. Today, American Airlines wants to provide this work on their inflight entertainment platform. Working with Annie is a professional pleasure because of her strong communication skills and her ability to attract a highly talented team.
